Grounding Memory was shown as part of a group exhibition at ArtHelix in Brooklyn, NY. The sound piece was playing from within paving stone base, is me singing along to songs from my childhood. There was pipe tobacco in between the cushions, and a new halved grapefruit sectioned and sugar- coated was added daily throughout the duration of the show. It questions the comfort associated with one’s past.
